“Afterglow” is a kinetic welded sculpture made in memory of my two friends who passed away. Made from 4 different types of metals and months of hard and tedious work, this sculpture won the SkillsUSA Ga State Welding Sculpture competition and then went on to win second in the USA. Moving components: Manta ray & Giant Clam
“Blackfish” is a kinetic welded sculpture featuring a swimming whale surrounded by other forms of marine life. This sculpture is made up of 5 different types of metals and all colors are achieved from naturally occurring processes in the welding shop. No paint is used on this sculpture, only a clear coat.
“Stingray” is a life-sized ray that serves as a wall mount. This isn’t just a regular stingray, I’ve introduced a little bit of dramatic flair adding dorsal bumps and spiney fins. Attaches to the wall via two screw/nail holes.
“Terrors Below” is a scene of a giant octopus tearing down a bridge. It was the first sculpture I ever made and won 1st in the 2023 SkillsUSA Ga State Secondary Welding Sculpture Competition.
